Hymne a l’amour is a non-profit digital Persona 5 Royal illustrated storybook zine that celebrates WLW relationships with the main female cast, centering around first loves and confessions!This zine will contain full spoilers of Persona 5 Royal, Tactica and Strikers spoilers are to be decided at a later date.

Contributor application guidelines

Writer Applications will be open from July 8 to August 5.Artist Applications will be open from November 1 to November 30. We will be looking for page/spread artists, merch artists and multiple cover artists.This zine is going to feature 3 main relationships: ShihoAnn, MakoHaru, and Sumitaba, and an extra section will be dedicated to MakoAnn. Each ship will get between 4-5 writers each and form a “team” alongside artists and create a story together. Each writer will get a chapter 8-10 pages long and each chapter will be assigned 2 artists. Each ship will have one or two associated merch items.We would love to have around anywhere between 20 writers, about 40+ page artists, and 4-6 merch artists. Numbers are subjects to change. This number includes 5 guest writers, and 5 guest artists.• Contributors will required to have Discord, as it will be our main channel of communication
• Hymne a l’amour will be a full SFW zine, regardless all interested applicants must be 16+ by the time the applications close
• Previous experience will not be required but please keep in mind that you’ll need to work and brainstorm with others!
• Provide a portfolio showcasing 3 to 5 pieces of your work!
• Portfolio links provided should be accessible. Make sure yours works!
Contributors may apply for different roles,but contributors will only be chosen for one role
• Contributors may choose only one ship to work with and there will be no changes, so choose wisely!

Writers

The main focus of this zine will be the writers, who will be expected to work on teams on one out of the four sections; 3 main couples and 1 extra couple, as stipulated above.
Teams will agree following a single track story and decide which part is going to write each of them. Teamwork is important and so is communication, so keep in mind that you will be discussing ideas and working together extremely often.
Please keep in mind that Hymne’s format will be a storybook, and you will need to talk with others and plan ahead!Each writer will get around 8-10 pagesFor your Portfolio:
• Submit 3 pieces that showcase your best work and writing abilities. We will be looking at your GRAMMAR, SENTENCE STRUCTURE, FLOW, and CHARACTERIZATION.
• At least one sample must be complete and stand alone. For example, you can submit a one-shot and two excerpts/pieces of longer works.
• All submitted pieces must have a minimum of 1000 words and must not exceed 3000. In case your piece is more than 3000 words, provide a shorter version.
• Make sure your links are accessible (on Google Docs or Microsoft Word) or upload a PDF of your submission(s).
